| REST OF THE WORLD FINAL |
| The Rest of the World Final returned, last raced in 2012/13, as part of the restructured GP qualifying system and saw a somewhat surprising winner in the shape of Rickie Keyse when he beat GP star Fillippe Chong in a run-off. The rostrum was completed by Bart Williamson who reached the interval unbeaten but added just 2 more points as Keyse and Chong took over him at the top of the scoreboard. Keyse and Williamson lead the qualifiers for the GP Challenge Semis with Jack Hagen, Josh Montsach, Leo McFarlane and Brad Easty joining them. Ricky Antunovich was forced to miss the meeting through injury but received good news shortly after the dust had settled on this one when it was confirmed he will take his place in the GP Challenge Semi Finals as one of the two wild cards. The other spot will also go to a rider from the Rest of the World group with young Australian Archie Sanders, forced to sit out of the Semi Final stage a few weeks ago with an injury, also given the thumbs up to get a second chance. |
